Our Work
In a good collaboration, mutual understanding is the foundation that comes from recognizing, understanding, and accepting the differences of one another. By achieving this combination, we can then learn and collectively grow as a community. C asean sees the importance of supporting the citizen of the world mindset, thus we have been working with partners to initiate activities under our three scopes of focus: Business & Sustainability, Learning & Talent Development, and Arts & Culture.

Common Cultural Heritage
Common Cultural Heritage presents the shared cultural identities, fosters cultural exchange, and promotes sustainable learning in alignment with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. By celebrating these identities and advancing sustainable learning, the initiative reflects the principles of inclusivity, ensuring that all voices and cultures are acknowledged and respected.
The initiative initially focused on the cultural connectivity between the Maori and Thai Song Dam ethnic groups, highlighting their shared heritage, traditions, and mutual commitment to preserving their rich cultural identities for future generations. Through a series of impactful events, the programme successfully inspired a deeper appreciation of these cultures and set a foundation for future collaborations.
Building on this initiative, C asean aims to expand its scope to showcase the culture of other ethnic groups across the ASEAN region, fostering a broader exchange of cultural narratives and strengthening the bonds of shared heritage.
